He said it best: the economy just hit a brick wall. The American consumer is the driving force of the economy. Employment halts consumer spending to bare essentials. No one has any idea what this looks like.

And yet - desipite the magniture - this is only the 2nd most important problem we need to solve right now.

The recovery, when it starts, will take years.
